Challenge: 64 Fortune Teller

This week's challenge was to use a string reminiscent of the paper fortune tellers we used to make as kids.  My sections are clearly stand alone except where my Onamato tangleation seems to line up with my Baton but it was fun trying to figure what might fit nicely into the space.  I enjoyed pulling out some tangles I haven't used in a while trying to add some weight to some of the lines for a different effect.  Its a look I really like when I see it and have not really tried it until now.  It is definitely something I will be experimenting with more.

Tangles: Zedbra, Scallops, Coaster, Cadent, Purk, Courant, Onamato (tangleation),  Baton

Challenge: 63 Fengle

I love this challenge.  As soon as I learned fengle I was immediately in love.  See my first tile here.  The fun lines and the many, many possibilities for variation.  I loved having the whole shapes as well as parts of arms.

Challenge 61 - Golven

This week's challenge is a "use my tangle" challenge that used the tangle Golven.  I tried out this tangle when it first appeared on tanglepatterns.com and loved it then!!  It was a lot of fun to get to play with again this week.

Challenge #60

Happy March!!  Challenge #60 was an interesting challenge from the Diva.  Two tangles that I rarely or never use.  First off Cirquital - I've never seen this tangle before!!  Somehow I missed the newsletter it was in so I was super surprised when I found it...and I love it!!!  I had a lot of fun with this one.  Munchin I was familiar with but haven't used that much.  I really like how it worked in my tile this week.
